Academics part of the school is very strong right from Pre-Nursery to Class XII. Besides the regular coaching in the school, the students of class X & XII are taught extra classes, in order to help all the students particularly weak students so that they may also pass their examination by extra merit.

Note: - The first examination of class XII will take place during the session 2013 - 14.
• SCHOOL LABS: -
School has Laboratories for the students in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Geography, and Computer Science labs fully equipped with modern science equipments, requisite furniture and science materials for practical purposes by the students under the supervision of the concerned teachers.
• LIBRARY: -
Library for the students of Senior Block, Middle Block and Primary Block exists in the school where they can read the books of their choice, in order to increase their knowledge and also for entertainment etc. They can also develop reading habits in this way which is very essential in the present times.
• SPORTS / GAMES/ CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: -
It is also pertinent to mention that we give equal importance to the sports/ games and co-curricular activities as to the academics. The students of the school play various games and take part in co-curricular activities under the supervision of specialized sports teachers and coaches who train them for the various competitions to be held at State and National level.
The students are also deputed to attend the various competitions in academic/ sports/ games and co-curricular activities not only in J& K state but also outside the state including National level competitions organized by the CBSE, The Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi and others.
• INTER HOUSE COMPETITIONS: -
The whole school has been divided in four houses namely Chenab, Ganga, Jhelum & Yamuna and accordingly students of these houses play various games among themselves under the supervision of the concerned coaches.
Further, Inter house Competitions are also held in the school on regular basis for the students, in order to prepare them for various competitions at State / National Level.
• SCOUTS AND GUIDES: -
The school also encourages the students to take part in Scouts and Guides where the students learn the social welfare activities and the defence activities in very organized and disciplined manner for their safety and security and also that of the Country as a whole.
• WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS AND INTERACTIVE PROGRAMMES: -
The school organizes workshop, seminars and interactive programmes for the teachers for their broader exposures where the Renowned Experts in different fields are invited from outside the state. Teachers are also deputed for attending such workshops, seminars and interactive programmes to enable them to equip themselves fully with the latest and modern techniques of teaching etc.
