Delhi Public School, Katra celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm and fervour. The school was decorated with diyas and lights hoping that this festival of lights brings bright sparkles of joy and happiness in everyone’s life. To make it a joyful day a cultural extravaganza was presented by the students. Students presented songs, poems, dance and a play to empress their affection on the special occasion. The function concluded with the address by Principal Ms. Vandna Sharma. She offered her warm wishes to the students and reiterated that children should celebrate pollution free Diwali. In its purest form by lightning lamps and sharing with less fortunate. She disco the students from bursting crackers. To mark Diwali celebrations, an inter-house rangoli competition was organised in the school. She appreciated the creativity displayed by the Satyans in the form of rangoli and diya. The whole school celebrated with energy and enthusiasm hoping that this Diwali would bring utmost peace and prosperity in everybody’s life.
