Delhi Public School Katra, celebrated the birthday anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh ji with full enthusiasm and reverence.
The celebrations began with the lighting of lamp and by paying floral tribute in front of rhe portrait of the Maharaja ji.All the staff members and the participant students were Attired in traditional Dogra turban, that added more grace in the celebration.
The programme was followed by a speech where students threw light on the contribution of Maharaja Hari Singh ji for his state, describing him as the most visionary ruler of the state, reformatory measures which Maharaja Hari Singh ji under took in order to improve health and educational status of women in India.
After the speech, song in the praise of his princely state Jammu, thoughts and role play on the life history of Maharaja ji was presented by the students.
The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, where all the students and teachers sang with honour and pride!
