DPS, KATRA celebrate Dussehra

DPS, KATRA celebrate Dussehra with religious spirit and devotion to mark the victory of good over evil. The school wore a festive look. Students came dressed up as various characters from Ramayana. They enacted the scenes from different kands of Ramayana and mesmerised the audience with their performance.

This special assembly started with lighting of lamp, that signifies victory of good over evil, light over darkness and happiness over gloom.
Various activities including speeches on Dussehra, poetic Ramayana and a group dance glorified the occasion.
A small skit on Dussehra was also performed by the students of Class XI on the occasion. They brought to life scenes from Lord Ram’s years of exile, the abduction of Sita, and at last the slaying of Ravan. Everyone around enjoyed the serene atmosphere.
And this event ended with the destruction of evil and the victory of good. Moral values were inculcated in students through this event.
Dr. Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji, Founder/Trustee MHSSEF (J&K) blessed the participants and appreciated the whole team. She also inspired students to follow the path of truth.
We whole heartedly thank MK Ajatshatru Ji, Chairman /Trustee MHSSEF (J&K) for providing us a platform where we can make better future of our students.
