DPS KATRA celebrated Accession Day

DPS KATRA celebrated Accession Day as Accession Day carries a great significance. On this day in 1947 Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir, Hari Singh Ji signed the Instrument of Accession to become a part of India, the greatest democracy of the world. Instrument of Accession is a legal document executed by Maharaja Hari Singh Ji, ruler of the princely state of Jammu & Kashmir, on 26th October 1947.
A special assembly was organised in which the students told about Accession Day. They also told about our Great Maharaja Hari Singh Ji and how he took this decision for the betterment of Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr. Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji Founder/ Trustee MHSSEF (J&K) who always work for the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir. Social and cultural initiatives are being taken to create a better place for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. She always encourages students and takes steps for their better future.
Like Maharaja Hari Singh ji, MK Ajatshatru Ji, Chairman/Trustee MHSSEF (J&K) also works for J&K. He always wants the development of J&K and that is why his focus is on the education of the children, Skill development,women empowerment.
Sh S.S. Sodhi Ji, Pro Vice Chairperson also support and work for educating the children.
