The Valedictory Function of the Summer Camp :2023 at Delhi Public School, Katra, was held on Friday, 16.06.2023.On this occasion, Mr. Vipan Chandran Superintendent of Police, Katra was the Chief Guest for the event and Mr. Vijay Karpulia, STO, Katra was the Guest of Honour. The Function was attended by all the Heads and the faculty members of DPS, Katra.
The programme was started with a lamp lighting ceremony, presentation of Potted plants and followed by various sports & cultural presentations by the students.
The highlight of the event was the felicitation of the students who had participated in various activities organized during the summer camp:2023. Each participant was awarded with a certificate of Appreciation for the enthusiastic involvement in the Summer Camp. The guests were greatly impressed by the enthusiastic participation of the students in various activities ranging from Karate, to fine arts & cooking without fire etc.
This gesture acknowledged the efforts and enthusiastic skills of the young participants and encouraged them to excel in their life.
In his speech, Mr. Vipan Chandran enlightened the young campers with his inspirational words and made them aware about the importance of being healthy and insisted on “Eat Healthy, Stay Healthy as health is the only wealth and, if the child is physically fit, he/ she can pursue their athletic passions while also prioritizing their education. Sh. M. K. Ajatshatru ji- Chairman/ Trustee MHSSEF (J & K), Dr. Kunwrani Ritu Singh ji- Founder/Trustee MHSSEF (J &K) , Sh. S. S. Sodhi ji- Pro – Vice Chairperson appreciated the efforts of the team DPS,Katra and extended the best wishes for the future ventures.
