Delhi Public School SMVDU, Katra organized an orientation programme on Tuesday,11.04 2023, for the newly admitted parents of the Session:2023-2024 to familiarize them with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities.
The Orientation Programme began with Lamp lighting and saraswati vandana for seeking God’s blessings for the Academic Session.
Welcoming parents to the new academic session, Ms. Manikarnika Sharma - Principal, DPS, Katra spoke about the benefits of effective communication between parents and teachers; she laid emphasis on a strong connection with the school patrons.
Ms Simmi Sharma – Administrator DPS, Katra sought support and suggestions from the parents to provide best education and growth opportunities to the children of the school. Moving further, she also spoke in detail about different ways of nurturing a child with love and care to build a strong foundation for a glorious future.

Later, respective Coordinators, teachers and HOD's of all academic sections briefed about the NEP, 2020 and also gave an overview of the various subjects and the activities which would be undertaken in the year ahead for the all-round development of the child.
The Orientation programme ended with the Vote of thanks by Ms. Madhu Sharma-Dy. Headmistress, DPS, Katra.
