DPS Katra organised a special assembly on Diwali, Bhai Dooj and Children's Day with great enthusiasm and the programme started with lighting of lamp. The students performed cultural items like Group song and group dance. A skit was performed by the class VIII students in which they aware all the students about celebrating Eco friendly sustainable pollution free Diwali.
Students of Primary Wing also highlighted the significance of the festival of ‘Bhai Dooj’
The tiny tots dressed in colourful clothes portrayed the eternal bond between a brother and sister beautifully.
Bhai Dooj celebrates the special brother sister mutual responsibilities for each other.
The Teachers of DPS Katra also celebrated Children's Day. On this ocassion they presented a speech and motivated students to be a good citizen of the nation as Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru wanted them to be.
Students enjoyed these assemblies a lot.
Dr. Kunwarani Ritu Singh Ji Founder/Trustee MHSSEF (J&K) also wished the Students and the Teachers a Happy Diwali and asked them to celebrate safe and Eco-friendly sustainable pollution free Diwali. She also wished Happy Children's Day to all the students and said children are the most precious creation in the world, we should protect, guide and love them with all our might, for they are our greatest treasures.
She also appreciated the participation of students in these assemblies.
MK Ajatshatru Ji Chairman/Trustee MHSSEF (J&K) also wishes A Happy Diwali to all the students and staff members. He also wished happy children's day to the students congregate for this majestic ocassion.
Sh.S.S. Sodhi Ji also wishes Happy Diwali to all and also support vocal for local. He said every diya we light is contributing towards empowering livelihood.
